Women In Math Over the past 20 years the number of women in the fields of math, science and engineering have grown at astronomical rate. The Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM), was established in the United States, and despite extensive work which has followed to address the challenges women in mathematics face, women still encounter particular difficulties within their professional careers.
