The Holocaust Remembrance Project was designed to encourage the study of the Holocaust and how this watershed event in human history relates to our world today. It has also served as a living memorial to the millions of victims of the Holocaust. For 18 years, the project involved a national college scholarship essay contest, scholarships for the top writers, and week-long, in-depth educational.
This contest (open to all students in the U.S. and Mexico grades 9-12) aims to encourage research of the Holocaust and have applicants submit a 1200 word essay that: (a) analyzes why it is vital that the remembrance, history and lessons of the Holocaust be passed on to a new generation; and.
